In 1635 Rembrandt made several portraits and tronies in print, among them this contemplative man with a fur cap. Rich impression, no signs of wear, printing with great contracts and fine vertical whipping marks, pinhole and a small restoration at the upper right verso, trimmed outside or to the platemark, in very good condition. Lifetime impressions are rare.
